From the Winery

Now we've had time to let the dust settle from another busy vintage, we've had a chance to taste and assess all the wines and the results are excellent.  Almost all the reds have now finished their second malolactic fermentation and are sitting happily in barrel maturing away.

2014 has turned out to be a very good vintage with everything showing true varietal characters and a lovely line of freshness through all the wines combined with great concentration.

We look forward to letting you taste the 2014 Random Shot Sauvignon Blanc which we've just bottled. This zippy, fresh and vibrant wine will be ready just in time for when the weather starts to warm up.

The next step in the winery is to start looking at blending the 2013 Farmer's Leap Shiraz, which is the best part of my job. I love playing around with all barrel components and working out the best balance of blending the wines together. 

The other exciting thing we are working on at the moment is a 2014 barrel fermented and matured Chardonnay which should be on sale by the end of the year - keep an eye out!
