Think fresh berries mixed with hints of thyme and dried mint –all the best of what makes Cabernet Sauvignon such a great variety.
Enjoy brambly fruit, savoury spice and fine tannins on the palate.

Sourced from 2 vineyard sites- one on red loamy clay over limestone providing richness and structure, and the other on black cracking clay with limestone at the surface which provides the vivid aromatics
2013 vintage was preceded by a dry growing season resulting in small yields, good concentration and no disease pressure. Autumn temperatures were warm and dry ensuring optimum ripeness and the cool nights maintained freshness and vibrancy in the wines.
Harvested when flavour ripe, and fermented on skins for a period of 5 days. The wine is matured for a period of around 12 months and a small proportion of the wine was matured with French oak, but the majority was un-oaked to allow the fruit to shine.
